The Hennepin Hat is a beginner friendly pattern using 16” circular needles. This hat is a great pattern for making mommy & me sets and knits up very quickly. My testers said their grandkids didn’t want to take the hat off because they loved the feel of the hat.

Materials Needed:
• 9mm (US size 13) 16” circular needles
• (4) 9mm Double Pointed Needles (only baby and toddler size need these)
• 65 yards of super bulky yarn (6 weight)
Buttercream Alpaca gives this hat the squishy softness, but any 6 weight will work. Loops & Threads makes an alpaca yarn too.
Note: 65 yards is for the adult size. You should be able to make two adult hats from one skein.
