A striped cozy example is as follows, but don’t be afraid to your imagination to come up with your own ‘ugly sweater’ - 1 round single crochet (white), 2 rounds half double crochet (green), 9 rounds half double crochet (red), 2 rounds half double crochet (green), 1 round single crochet (white), 1 round single crochet red scrubby yarn.

The top opening of the cozy will stretch to fit over your can or bottle. Try not to stretch out the bottom because you want that snug fit to keep the cozy from sliding down. Always slip the cozy over a can or bottle before slipping it onto the template.

Get the both the Grinch and the Ugly Sweater templates HERE in my shop Note: You will be asked to put in some customer info, but NO payment info will be collected since it is a FREE template/pattern. I haven’t figured out how to add a PDF to Squarespace yet so for now this work around will suffice.
